Description

KinderCare Learning Center in South Elgin offers high-quality daycare, child care, and early childhood education in a safe, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, create and grow.     <p><!--block-->Wendy began her career with KinderCare in August 2002. She has experience as a teacher, an Assistant Director and a Regional Health and Safety Coordinator with KinderCare. Currently, she is thrilled to be a part of the South Elgin KinderCare to provide the best educational experience to the children in her care each day. Additionally, Wendy utilizes her expertise in the field of Early Childhood Education to assist other KinderCare programs in the area as the Quality Team Leader. The experience that she has continues to enrich the lives of children through rich and developmentally appropriate curriculum, positive guidance and support, and allowing children to learn, grow and discover the world around them.&nbsp;</p>

  • Michelle Johnsen

    <p><!--block-->Michelle has been with KinderCare since April of 1999.&nbsp; She attended NIU and received her bachelor's degree in early childhood. During her time with KinderCare, she has worked with all&nbsp; age groups and was a teacher in a classroom for 13 years.&nbsp; She then decided to further her career by becoming an Assistant Director and has worked at the DeKalb KinderCare. The most rewarding part about her job is seeing the children everyday and watching them grow. Michelle looks forward to getting to know all the children and their families at this center and being apart of your child's education.</p>

  • Ms. Kelsey Johnsen

    Miss Kelsey graduated from Northern Illinois University in May 2014.&nbsp; She is very passionate about the education and well-being of young children and working with their families to ensure healthy and positive parent/child relationships.&nbsp; In Kelsey's spare time she enjoys being around family and friends.&nbsp; She looks forward to getting to know all the children and families.

    Miss Renee is new to this area, but not childcare.&nbsp; She has been in the Early Childhood Education field for the past 17 years.&nbsp; She enjoys working and meeting different ages of children and their families.&nbsp; She looks forward to continuing to meet new families and watch the children grow and develop.

    Miss Silvia has been with KinderCare since May of 2007.&nbsp; She loves the Toddler Room because everyday is a different experience and she gets to provide the children wiht a positive, safe, and fun environment where they are free to explore.
